Who wrote this. We're HonestFarewell, so we're one of the sites on this page. We aren't affiliated with Ever Loved, and Ever Loved hasn't reviewed this page. Facts about Ever Loved come from its own public pages, checked October 26, 2026, linked at the end.
Funeral homes can pay us for a labelled "Sponsored" listing, but no one can pay to change our price lists or the order of homes. If something here is out of date, email hello@honestfarewell.org and we'll fix it.
Ever Loved is best known for memorial websites and fundraising. If that's what you need, we should say it plainly: HonestFarewell doesn't make memorial websites or run fundraisers. This page explains what Ever Loved offers, and where we can help with the parts we do cover.
What Ever Loved offers
From its help center: standard memorial websites are free, and a Premium site is a one-time $199.99. Ever Loved says it doesn't charge a platform fee on donations; card processing of 2.9% plus 30¢ comes off each one, and donors can add a tip. It also has a funeral planning tool that lists funeral homes, a checklist for after a death, and a marketplace for products, where it takes 10% of each sale from the seller.
What HonestFarewell covers instead
Funeral home prices. If you're arranging a funeral, we show each home's own prices from its General Price List, with the date we last checked them. We cover 85 metro areas in 10 states so far.
Guides. Free, plain guides to what happens after a death, cremation and burial choices, and costs.
A wishes planner. Write down your own funeral wishes. It stays in your browser tab, and you print it or save it as a PDF.
What we don't do
- Memorial websites or online obituaries.
- Fundraising or collecting donations.
- Selling caskets, urns or flowers.
For those, a memorial website service is the right kind of site. Look at its fees for donations and for keeping the page online.

How HonestFarewell works, for both sides. Families get checked prices, guides and a planner for free. Funeral homes can claim their listing for free, and once we've checked a claim, requests from up to 5 families a month come straight to that home.
Paid listings are labelled "Sponsored". We never charge a home for a family's request, and no payment changes a home's prices or where it ranks. Our Advertiser Disclosure (opens in a new tab) explains it in full.
