We'd rather be corrected than wrong. Anyone can tell us: a family, a funeral home or a law firm.
What to send
Email corrections@honestfarewell.org with:
- The page: its web address, or the name of the home or firm and the city.
- What's wrong: the price, name, address, phone number, website or fact.
- Your evidence. For a price, the current General Price List: a link to it on the home's website, or the file. For anything else, the source that shows the right answer.
Funeral homes: our guide to publishing your General Price List shows how to put it where we can read it.
What happens next
- We check it against the source. A new price list gets read and reviewed like any other.
- We update the listing and date the change. Every price shows when we last checked it.
- We tell you what we changed, or why we didn't.
This usually takes 5 business days.
What's free, and what we never do
- Corrections are free. No one has to pay us, or be a partner, to have their own information corrected.
- Paying never changes the answer. New price lists from Premium partners are reviewed first, then those from homes with a free claim, then everyone else's. Every list is checked the same way.
- We never remove accurate information on request. A home can correct a price, explain it, or reply to it. It can't get a true price, a license status or a listing taken down.
If you're a funeral home
Your prices on HonestFarewell come from your own General Price List. The fastest way to change them is to put your current list on your website and send us the link. Become a partner if you'd also like to add photos, hours and a description to your listing.
