Site statistics
We measure how visitors use HonestFarewell (pages viewed, time on a page, links clicked and searches made) to improve the site and to report totals to funeral homes. We store no cookie, IP address or user ID for this.
To opt out: use the Privacy settings button at the top of this page and decline statistics. We then stop collecting this information from your browser.
Browser privacy signals
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of site statistics and of any sale or sharing of your personal information. You don't need to do anything else.
Do Not Sell or Share
We don't sell your personal information for money, and nothing you type here goes to a provider unless you choose that provider. Some links on this site may pay us when you click them, and the companies behind them may use cookies to record that click; under California law that can count as "sharing".
To opt out of selling or sharing:
- use the Privacy settings button at the top of this page and decline marketing cookies; or
- turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser; or
- email privacy@honestfarewell.org with "Do Not Sell or Share".
We act on an emailed request within 15 business days.
Your data
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it.
Email privacy@honestfarewell.org from the address the request is about. We'll confirm we received it within 10 days and answer within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Partner accounts: funeral-home partners can see and change their business details in their account at premium.honestfarewell.org. Billing records are kept for tax and accounting, as the privacy policy explains.
