Paperwork before a cremation

Idaho allows a funeral establishment, cemetery, or crematory to rely on an authorization signed by the person who has the legal right to control disposition or, in certain circumstances, on coroner authorization. The statute expressly covers burial and cremation authorizations. The law makes a difference between having authority to arrange disposition and simply being a relative. The person signing the authorization is representing that they have the legal right to make the decision.
